In his final act of generosity, David Bunch Sansone designated 90% of his estate to support the Sisters of Mercy, St. John's Hospital (now Mercy) and its School of Nursing. In honor of his parents, he established the Charles Sansone and Angelina Sansone Hospital Fund , ensuring their names would forever be associated with healing and hope.

Today, that legacy lives on through the fund's dual mission: to support nursing education and provide assistance for patients facing financial hardship.
